Data and permission

The tool requests the Google Ads OAuth permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. That scope can allow reading and changing Ads data. The tool separately limits requests to configured customer accounts and keeps writing disabled by default.

Depending on the operator's request, it may access account identity, currency and time zone; campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, search terms, performance and conversion settings; keyword ideas, historical search metrics, geographic targets and forecasts; and proposed changes, validation and execution records.

Use of the data

We use Google Ads data to research search demand, analyse MSN Audio advertising, compare forecast scenarios and prepare campaign plans. When a supported write function is separately enabled and the operator confirms a specific validated plan, the tool can submit that change to Google Ads and read it back. It does not activate a new campaign.

Storage and retention

OAuth client information and refresh credentials are kept in private files outside the project directory on the operator's computer. Research responses, reports, plans, exports and audit records are stored locally in the tool's runtime directory. These files may contain commercially sensitive account data.

The tool currently has no automatic deletion period. An authorised operator keeps local records until they are manually removed or a deletion request is resolved. Any local backups must be reviewed separately. Deleting local files does not delete Google Ads account data or copies already present in a Codex conversation.

Sharing and service providers

The tool exchanges information with Google through the official Google Ads API. When an operator uses the tool through Codex, prompts and tool results placed in the conversation may be processed by OpenAI's Codex service. We do not publish Google Ads account data on this website, sell it or use it for unrelated advertising. We do not intentionally include OAuth tokens in tool responses or logs.

Access, revocation and removal

Only configured accounts may be queried. The Google account holder can revoke access to this app in their Google Account's third-party connection settings. For access questions or removal of local records, email msndigitalau@gmail.com. We will identify the relevant records and confirm what can be removed, including any local backups under our control. A local deletion request does not itself modify the Google Ads account.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page before using Google Ads data for a materially different purpose and seek any additional consent required. Viewing these public pages does not grant the tool Google Ads access.
